Terms of Service

DEFINITIONS
‘Artist’ refers to the client receiving coaching.
‘Studio’ refers to Allen Hooper's 10⁴ Acting Studio.

EXCLUSIVE SELF-TAPE SERVICE
Artist will receive self-tape coaching for a specific role/project (‘Session’) via videoconferencing (currently Zoom, subject to change at Studio’s discretion). Session will be scheduled at a mutually agreed date and time (‘Appointment’) and last for the duration booked.

Artist is then entitled to one review of a single self-tape prepared for the specific role/project, provided (a) a link is emailed to Studio at least twelve (12) hours before the casting deadline, and (b) Artist’s account is paid in full. The review may include feedback on errors, new suggestions, or simple approval (e.g., ‘Ready to submit’).

FEES / PAYMENTS
The base fee is fifty dollars ($50) for a thirty (30) minute Session. A deposit of fifty dollars ($50) is required to secure Appointment, due prior to Session. Additional time may be added at a prorated rate calculated using the base fee. A longer Session may require a higher deposit. Any remaining balance is due at the completion of Session. Unused time is non-refundable except as provided under the section ‘Short Session Credit.’

EXCLUSIVE POLICY
Studio limits coaching to one outside Artist per unique role within a specific project (e.g., a single episode of a series). Students enrolled in Studio’s 1-On-1 Ongoing Online Class are considered Insiders. If any of them are coached for the same role, Artist will be informed as soon as practicable.

SHORT SESSION CREDIT
If a Session ends with more than fifteen (15) minutes of unused time, Artist will receive a credit for the remaining unused time, which may be redeemed for an additional Session or to extend a future Session (e.g., a paid thirty (30) minute Session becomes forty-five (45) minutes). Credit must be redeemed within one (1) year of the original Session. If Studio cannot reasonably schedule the credited Session, a refund proportional to the unused time will be issued as soon as practicable.

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING
Cancellation or rescheduling requires at least six (6) hours’ notice before Appointment. If a new Appointment cannot be mutually agreed upon, Artist may keep the original Appointment or cancel with a full deposit refund, processed within twenty-four (24) hours. Studio-initiated cancellation will result in an immediate refund, or within twenty-four (24) hours if immediate processing is unavailable.

For less than six (6) hours’ notice, rescheduling, refund, or credit are subject to Studio availability and discretion. No refund or credit will be issued for no-show. Session begins at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not receive extended time.

RECORDINGS
Artist is responsible for their primary recording, arranged at their discretion during or after Session. Studio will provide a backup recording of Session, with a link sent upon full payment (or Session completion if no balance is due), available for download for twenty-four (24) hours.

Recordings made during Session (primary and backup) may only be used to create a self-tape for submission to the role/project’s casting entity and must otherwise remain confidential and unpublished.

MISCELLANEOUS
By registering, you agree to these Terms. Studio may update these Terms in the future, with notice provided via Studio’s website. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Studio does not offer, procure, or promise auditions or employment opportunities for Artist and is not liable for the outcome of any audition or self-tape submission.
